Novelty; stir in hot chocolate

So this Christmas i received possibly the most idyllic present, hot chocolate. However this was no ordinary hot chocolate. It's safe to say it fits in perfectly well with my lazy attitude towards most things in life, including obtaining the most comforting hot drink.

Festivities

Even though it's a little late i thought i'd display proof that i'm not a total Grinch. Whilst watching river cottage, being as typically English as possible, me and my sister set about making our very own bespoke reef. The ingredients were simple; some chicken wire, ivy leaves, dried flowers and the leftovers from trimming the Christmas tree.

Back to Black;

The temptation to buy a new pair of winter shoes has been creeping up on me recently. So, in order to coincide with my limited student budget i decided to experiment with a white pair of summer sandals and some black spray paint for leather. I've never been fond of light colours so therefore i had nothing to lose, right?

Maybe the end result wasn't necessarily perfection however once i cleaned up a little with some trusted nail polish remover they were as good as black. Now all i have to do is to dare to walk in these flatforms courageously on the winters icy ground.
